On a typical Wednesday morning, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend Pooja at the serene Ramana Maharishi Ashram in Tiruvannamalai. As I strolled through the meticulously maintained ashram grounds, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of tranquility and peace envelop me.
During my leisurely walk, I found myself instinctively drawn towards the ashram shop. It was as if an invisible force guided me towards a particular item – the Sri Chakra Yantra. Intrigued by it, I decided to purchase it, even though I didn’t have much knowledge about its purpose.
Fortunately, the staff at the ashram shop were incredibly helpful and understanding. I approached them and inquired about how to use this sacred symbol. To my delight, they provided me with a detailed information sheet that explained everything I needed to know.
The information sheet provided information about the Sri Chakra Yantra along with a lovely story about how Sri Ramana, who prescribes self-enquiry as a path to enlightenment, also instituted the workings with the Yantra for anyone who would benefit from it. The beneficial power Sri Ramana brought into earth is also induced into the Sri Chakra.
It truly felt like a divine gift to have access to such comprehensive guidance on integrating this spiritual tool into my practice.
Overall, yet another of many experiences at Ramana Maharishi Ashram has enhanced my spiritual development. The staff’s willingness to share their knowledge and provide me with detailed information greatly enriched my understanding of the Sri Chakra Yantra. Now armed with this newfound understanding, I embark on a journey of deeper spiritual exploration and connection.

The Sri Chakra Yantra is a sacred geometric representation of the divine feminine energy.. It is a powerful tool used in Hindu and Tantric traditions for spiritual growth, manifestation, and the awakening of consciousness.
The Sri Chakra Yantra consists of nine interlocking triangles that form a central point called the Bindu. These triangles represent the various aspects of the divine feminine energy, such as creation, preservation, and destruction. The outermost triangle symbolizes the material world, while the innermost triangles represent higher states of consciousness.
To use the Sri Chakra Yantra effectively, it is important to understand its purpose and symbolism. Start by finding a quiet and clean space where you can sit comfortably. Place the Yantra in front of you, either by drawing it on paper or purchasing one at the Ramana Maharishi Ashram.
Take a few deep breaths to relax your mind and focus your attention on the Yantra. Gently gaze at its intricate patterns and allow yourself to feel a connection with its divine energy. Visualize yourself entering into the Yantra and experiencing its sacred geometry within your being.
As you continue with your practice, allow yourself to surrender to the energy of the Yantra. Feel its vibrations harmonizing your mind, body, and spirit. Approach your practice with reverence and respect for the sacredness of the Sri Chakra Yantra. Regular use of this powerful tool can help you align with your higher self, tap into your inner power, and manifest your aspirations.
Many Blessings on your Journey!
