Welcome to Become the Healer! I am thrilled to have you here as we embark on a journey of discovery and empowerment through the fascinating field of German New Medicine. Last year, I stumbled upon this incredible body of knowledge, and since then, it has captivated me with its unique perspective on health and healing.
In our podcast, we will not only explore the principles and insights of German New Medicine but also delve into its connections with other healing modalities. It is essential to understand that healing is a multi-faceted process, and by integrating different approaches, we can achieve holistic well-being.
One of the primary reasons why I am so enthusiastic about sharing this information is because it has the power to create a profound mindset shift. Our minds play a pivotal role in our healing journeys, often becoming barriers that hinder our progress. Before diving into the “how-to” aspect of healing, it is crucial to convince our minds that healing is indeed possible
German New Medicine is an alternative medical approach that suggests a link between psychic shock traumas and the onset of illness and disease. Developed by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer in the 1980s, this theory proposes that unresolved emotional conflicts can disrupt the body’s natural healing process and lead to various health problems.
Dr. Hamer, the founder of German New Medicine, faced numerous challenges and controversies surrounding his theory. His ideas challenged conventional medical beliefs and sparked intense debates within the medical community. As a result, he encountered significant opposition, including legal actions and professional ostracism. While it is true that Dr. Hamer received death threats from some individuals who vehemently disagreed with his theories, it is important to note that such threats were not representative of the entire response to his work. Ultimately, the controversy surrounding Dr. Hamer’s German New Medicine highlights the inherent resistance to change and the difficulties faced by those who challenge established medical paradigms
According to German New Medicine, every illness or disease is believed to have a precise psychological cause, often stemming from a specific traumatic event or emotional shock
Dr. Hamer used brain scans to study the connection between conflict-shocks and their manifestation in specific areas of the body. Through his extensive research, he conducted thousands of brain scans and made insightful observations. For instance, he found that conflicts related to abandonment or separation often resulted in brain activity changes in the cerebral cortex and corresponding symptoms in the skin. Similarly, conflicts involving self-devaluation were linked to brain changes in the kidney area and subsequent kidney-related health issues. These findings highlight Dr. Hamer’s groundbreaking work in understanding the mind-body connection and provide valuable insights into the relationship between emotional conflicts and their physiological effects on specific organs
These shocks are categorized into five biological laws, each corresponding to different stages of the disease process.
The first law suggests that every disease originates as a result of a significant emotional shock or trauma experienced by an individual. This shock disrupts the psyche and triggers a corresponding physical response in the body.
The second law proposes that after the initial shock, the body enters a survival phase characterized by specific biological processes. These processes are seen as an inherent part of the body’s attempt to adapt and cope with the emotional conflict.
The third law suggests that during the healing phase, symptoms might arise as part of a natural self-healing process. These symptoms are viewed as meaningful biological responses aimed at resolving the underlying emotional conflict.
The fourth law emphasizes the importance of understanding that diseases have a purpose, serving as an adaptive response to the psychological conflict. By acknowledging this purpose and addressing the emotional root cause, it is believed that healing can occur.
Lastly, the fifth law highlights that once the emotional conflict is resolved, the body can return to its normal state of equilibrium and regain its health..
While there may be limited scientific evidence to support the theory of German New Medicine, we can explore other modalities that also believe that our emotions can contribute to physical ailments. Traditional Chinese Medicine, with its centuries-old practice, provides valuable insights in this regard. According to this ancient system, specific emotions can have a detrimental impact on particular organs. Though different from German New Medicine, this observation aligns with the idea that emotional well-being plays a significant role in our overall health and can influence the functioning of our organs.
One ancient healing modality that believes emotions can cause health problems is Ayurveda. Originating in India over 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda is a holistic system that seeks to balance the mind, body, and spirit. According to this modality, emotional disturbances such as stress, anxiety, and anger can disrupt the natural flow of energy in the body and lead to various health issues. By recognizing the intricate connection between emotions and physical health, Ayurveda provides a unique perspective that emphasizes the importance of emotional well-being in maintaining optimal health
A more recent healing modality that emphasizes the connection between our emotions and overall health is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is based on the premise that unresolved emotional issues contribute to physical ailments and imbalances in the body. This technique involves tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on emotional distress, which is believed to release blocked energy and restore balance. By addressing emotions such as stress, anxiety, and trauma, EFT aims to promote healing on both the emotional and physical levels, ultimately supporting overall well-being
When it comes to maintaining our overall well-being, it is widely accepted that emotional health plays a significant role..
In your own journey towards healing, recognizing the impact of negative relationships and traumatic experiences is indeed crucial. Surrounding yourself with supportive and positive influences can contribute to emotional well-being, which may indirectly support physical health. It is always advisable to seek professional guidance and support when dealing with emotional trauma or any health concerns you may have.
